Fines de Claires is a 50-foot sailing yacht built for larger crews who want space, privacy and a reliable, well-thought-out technical setup. The layout works extremely well for families and groups: four double cabins, one cabin with bunk beds, and a completely separate skipper cabin with its own toilet and shower. All guest cabins are air-conditioned, which is something you don’t often find on yachts this size. Life on board is comfortable and easy. There is a cockpit fridge for quick access, and inside you’ll find a large separate fridge and freezer, plus an ice maker – very practical when ten or more people are on board for a week. The saloon features a TV that rises on an electro-hydraulic lift, and the swim platform opens electrically with a remote control. The interior is finished in teak, and the cockpit has thick designer cushions with proper backrests, which makes the outdoor space feel much more like a lounge than a cockpit. Under sail, the yacht performs better than most boats in its class. A full-batten mainsail and a genoa with vertical battens keep the shape stable in different conditions, and the electric winch for hoisting the mainsail removes the usual effort. Two additional winches are dedicated to trimming the mainsail, which is especially useful when the wind picks up or when you have a mixed-experience crew. The electrical system is stronger than on a typical charter yacht. Large LiFePO₄ batteries, a solar panel, a 24-volt bow thruster and windlass, and a quiet inverter-type generator give the boat a lot of independence from shore power. The generator runs at variable RPM, which keeps the noise down. The entire vessel is fully networked: the engine, generator, tanks and all batteries are monitored directly through the Raymarine Axiom Pro displays, both inside and outside. Navigation is supported by an AIS transmitter and a Fusion audio system with a touchscreen and full network connectivity. The tender setup is simple and clean – a 270 cm dinghy powered by an Epropulsion Spirit Plus electric outboard, so there’s no need for petrol on board. A SUP is also included. Overall, Fines de Claires is a yacht for crews who want comfort and proper space, but also the confidence that comes from a modern, well-equipped and well-maintained boat. It’s a great balance of practicality, performance and the little details that make a week on the water feel smooth and relaxed.
